A skittle lane for Osaka.

Skittle lanes run in our family. For the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Georges Linster — a second-generation lane builder — helped build a lane for the Luxembourg pavilion. Télécran told the story.

The Linster family has built skittle lanes for generations: Jean Linster founded the business and Georges joined in 1976. Their lanes went all over Luxembourg, to Belgium — and one even to what was then the Belgian Congo.

For Osaka, students of the Lycée Privé Emile Metz built a new lane under his guidance at the CNFPC in Esch/Alzette: new lane, base and panelling, with mechanics and electronics reused from an old Luxembourg lane. Minister Xavier Bettel came by, and the students were invited to the Expo.

And here in Heiderscheid? Our skittle lane is waiting for you — right inside All In.

„Despite the shorter length, it plays just like the real thing.“
